Guest On Debt Free Living Podcast

Erase Debt

Getting out of debt was one of the best decisions I ever made. It relieved mountains of stress, made the first year of my marriage infinitely easier, and has made this website possible.

John White at JW Financial Coaching heard I was enjoying the debt-free side of the life and asked me to be a guest on his Debt Free Living Podcast.

We talked about how I got out of debt, how being debt free has affected my marriage, what advice I would give to someone who wants to get their finances under control, and I told a little bit of my financial story.

It was a lot of fun and has a lot packed into 30 minutes.

Listen to it by clicking here and let me know what you thought. I haven’t been on many podcasts, so comments, encouragements, and advice are appreciated.

How did I do?

Alex thanks again for being on the show! It was a blast interviewing you and learning about your debt free story. You are doing some amazing things and it is exciting to see what you and your wife are able to do now that you do not have any payments.

Really good interview. Two things occurred to me, though.

    1) I didn’t know about your Cowboys pin theory when you worked at Papa John’s. That’s a pretty good strategy in Dallas.
    2) I found it funny that this was recorded before you had even listed your grandma’s house and were still in that “I’ve got my fingers crossed” stage, given what ended up happening.

    Once again, good job.

One of my co-workers always wore a cowboy’s t-shirt on every game day. I asked him how it worked out and he told me it usually got him bigger tips but sometimes he got stiffed because of it.
